Views Explained

Views Definition: A way of subdividing a large subject into a overall Summary and a number of smaller more detailed “Views”.
Detailed "Views" can be used to explain a section of the overall topic.
A View is a way of defining exactly which events are displayed, a way to segregate sections of the topic.
It is possible to create 10 + Views per timeline.
Views are an option – if you don’t need a multiple layered timeline don’t use Views.

Case study – Timeline style “Business”
A business timeline could be structured in the following way:
Home View = Project Summary: Milestones, main project stages, when key information is available.
View 1 = Mid level Project detail, a more detail ‘view’ of a section of the project.
Additional Views = Detailed low level information on an exact section of the project.
