Help with the structure of your timeline
Planning and structure are important in most things, and our software is not an exception.
If your planning a large timeline project, understanding the required end result; where it will be displayed, to whom and through what medium, are important considerations.
Again, we know timelines and we will gladly offer advice regarding how to structure your project.
Displaying Your Finished Timeline
Displaying on Desktop
If you require a 'static display' mode for use in a museum or for interactive use in a presentation you will be interested in the 'Kiosk Mode'.
The timeline software can be switched into kiosk mode via a password.
Once in this mode, the main timeline controls stay available for the user however, all editing writes for both the software application and the computer are no longer accessible.
This means the timeline itself can't be edited and the computer can't be used for any other purpose than displaying a timeline.
To gain access to your PC again just add the password and both your PC and the timeline are free for normal use.
Displaying on internet
Your timeline can be uploaded to the internet.
Once here it can be displayed in a number of ways:
- On our website in our despositary.
- In our Timeline Gallery.
- On your own website.
